Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 15 oz can green beans, drained
  • 10.75 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups frozen tater tots
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease an 8 or 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add diced onions to the skillet and sauté for 4-5 minutes until translucent.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Transfer the ground beef mixture to the prepared baking dish. Spread evenly.
  7. Layer with cream of mushroom soup, then green beans, followed by shredded cheddar cheese. Season each layer.
  8. Top with frozen tater tots.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
